Lighthouse Baptist School is a ministry of Lighthouse Baptist Church. All operations of Lighthouse Baptist School are decidedly Christian in nature and content and Baptist in doctrine and practice.

Pastor Bryson began Tri-City Baptist School in 1998. He had a desire to assist parents in educating and equipping their students to develop a heart for God, to cultivate a sound biblical worldview, and to prepare students to positively impact their families, churches, communities, and country for Jesus Christ. In 2003, Tri-City Baptist Church merged with Amador Valley Baptist Church and formed Lighthouse Baptist Church. It was at this time that Tri-City Baptist School changed its name to Lighthouse Baptist School. Previous administrators have been Pastor Bryson, Jeremiah Blasi, Cliff Reedman, Chris Rule.

The mission of Lighthouse Baptist School is to assist parents in educating and equipping their students to develop a heart for God, to cultivate a sound biblical worldview, and to prepare students to positively impact their families, churches, communities, and country for Jesus Christ.

LBS seeks to accomplish its mission by striving to achieve the following five learning outcomes:

• Enabling students to develop the character of Christ
• Educating students with Bible-centered, content-rich, and academically-rigorous curriculum
• Equipping students for a lifetime of servant leadership
• Encouraging students to reach their full potential: spiritually, academically, socially, and physically
• Elevating the student's love for God and country

The creation and continued operation of Lighthouse Baptist School is to assist Christian parents in fulfilling their responsibility before God to "bring up [their children] in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). Lighthouse Baptist School shall endeavor to train young people spiritually and practically for a life of service and dedication to the Lord and materially provide for the families.

All instruction and activities provided by Lighthouse Baptist School shall be in accordance with and in obedience to God’s principals as revealed in his Holy Word. Instruction in scholastics, Scripture, Christian character and service are necessary to produce well-rounded, productive citizens and Christians.
