What is a Lighthouse service like?
In total, a Lighthosue service is about 60 to 70 minutes in length. Services usually begin with congregational worship singing along with choir and other special music. Song lyrics are presented on a large screen so you can sing along and engage with the worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service, Pastor will bring a clear BIble message designed to encourage, strengthen, and draw us closer to God.
How should I dress?
There is no dress code at Lighthouse Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Lighthouse Baptist Church, so please feel free to come as you are and most comfortable.
Where should I park?
LBC is nestled in the historic section of Pleasanton. There is ample street parking along First Street, Second Street, and Neal. There are designated parking spaces near the church for First Time Guests and for our Senior and handicap friends. We also have a passenger loading and unloading space on Neal Street right in front of the building to drop off folks before you go to your parking space.
The handicap ramp is located on the East side of the building on Second Street. Be sure to ask one of our ushers or greeters for any assistance you may need.
What about my kids?
We provide clean and safe nursery and toddler care by loving and trained workers for every service. In addition, there is also age graded Sunday school classes and Jr church for all children ages 4 years to 6th grade for the Sunday morning services and a special kids program during the Wednesday night service at 7PM. An usher or greeter will be able to direct you to the right classrooms.
