What is a Lighthouse service like?
A typical service lasts about 60 to 70 minutes. Services begin with congregational singing, accompanied by choir and special music. Song lyrics are displayed on a large screen, and hymnals are also available, allowing everyone to participate in worship in the way they feel most comfortable.
Following the music, our pastor shares a clear, Bible-centered message designed to encourage, strengthen, and help us grow closer to God.
How should I dress?
There is no dress code for members or guests at Lighthouse Baptist Church. While many of our church family and ministry leaders choose to wear traditional Sunday attire, our desire is for you to feel welcome and comfortable. Please come dressed in whatever makes you most comfortable.
Where should I park?
Lighthouse Baptist Church is located in Pleasanton's historic downtown. Ample street parking is available along First Street, Second Street, and Neal Street.
We also provide designated parking spaces for first-time guests, seniors, and those with disabilities. A passenger loading and unloading zone is available on Neal Street directly in front of the building for convenient drop-off before parking.
The handicap-accessible ramp is located on the east side of the building along Second Street. If you need assistance, one of our ushers or greeters will be happy to help.
What about my kids?
We provide clean, safe nursery and toddler care during every service, staffed by loving and trained workers.
We also offer age-appropriate Sunday School classes and Junior Church for children ages 4 through 6th grade during the Sunday morning service, as well as an exciting children's program on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.
Our ushers and greeters will be happy to help you find the appropriate classroom for your child.
